The Salaam symbol
A small piece of artwork that an organization places in their space. It says, without saying it out loud: Muslims are welcomed here.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
A Canadian movement
A Canadian movement for Muslim-welcoming spaces. Our tools are simple: a physical symbol organizations can host, honest conversations with the community, and art that treats welcome as an everyday practice.

Our mission
This is a movement of Canadians building bridges. It started in a social work classroom, took root in the Islamic value of Salaam, and today it lives as an offering of welcome to anyone who’ll accept one.
What the movement does
01/03
A small piece of artwork that an organization places in their space. It says, without saying it out loud: Muslims are welcomed here.
We ask, we listen, we report back what we heard. Surveys are anonymous by default, and no one gets contacted unless they check the box asking us to.
Events, campaigns, and public conversations for anyone, Muslim or not, who wants a Canada where welcome shows up as a practice, not a slogan.
A few ways to help
No pressure either way. If any of the three sound right for you, we’d love to hear from you.
